Connect any headphone to your Nokia
Nokia with head phone
Nokia has been making great phones for years but in my eyes a big flaw has always been the Nokia pop port. It's the connector that connects your Nokia to your headset, your computer or other add-ons. The problem is you can only connect special Nokia headsets to it that use the Nokia pop-port connector. So you can't connect your own headphone, iPod ear plugs or other 3.5mm connections.

The best way to solve this is to use a Nokia pop-port to 3.5mm audio jack converter. You can buy them from Ebay but you can also build one yourself from the standard headset you got with your Nokia. All you need is a 3.5mm socket adapter for about $0,10 and a soldering iron could make your connections extra firm. Than follow this DIY how-to guide to put it all together.

It's surprisingly easy to build this mod. Once you pop in your newly made converter you can connect any headphone or PC speakers. And with a 3.5mm to RCA converter your can even connect your Nokia to your audio system.
