Today Sony announced playTV, a combination of a TV tuner and a personal video recorder (PVR) for the PlayStation 3.  Apart from the fact that it's a great marketing strategy from Sony, it really bundles the separate strengths of the Sony products for multimedia entertainment. Playing Shooting Rang on Wii Play (I still call it Duck Hunt) gets an extra dimension with this Wii accessory. At the E3 2007 conference Nintendo proudly presented its Wii Zapper; an accessory to turn your Wiimote into a light gun.
