iPhone controlled kitchen island

iPhone kitchen
Not everything geek related needs to be practical. Sometimes things are just cool for the sake of it. This iPhone controlled kitchen island that sinks into the floor by the press of a button is an example of that. It’s an impressive do-it-yourself project and undoubtedly to some practical use to the owner of the kitchen. The likelihood of this going mainstream is slim to none though. Still, you have to admit that it’s an awesome sight (maybe even more so with the cat on top of it) and it could give your kitchen a very futuristic feel. Give the video a go and judge for yourself. A gimmick, but an impressive DIY project.
