iPhone Band
Apple recently announced the new iPhone SDK (software development kit) for third party application developers. Of course third party applications have been available for jailbroken iPhones for some time now among which were some virtual instruments. The Japanese band Denki Groove used only those virtual instruments on their iPhones en iPods Touch to create their own version of Smoky Bubbles as the video below shows. Belkin Rockstar
Just announced at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas the Belkin Rockstar should be available in stores around march for about $ 20,- a piece. It's an audio hub where up to 5 headphones can be connected to a single audio source. So if you want some friends to check out a song on your iPod, just let them plug in and enjoy it with you. new ipods - shuffle, nano and touch
Apple just announced a complete new iPod line-up with the new iPod nano and brand new iPod touch as most interesting devices. The tiny iPod shuffle gets some new colors and the iPod we used to call the video iPod is now the iPod classic. There aren't many changes in these two devices. Battery powered DIY USB charger
Last Friday we reported on the newly announced Philips portable charger. But if you don't feel like waiting and do feel like building something yourself: meet the Minty Boost. It's a $20,- DIY kit to build a dual AA battery USB charger to give your iPod or other USB charged gadget an extra boost.
