new ipods - shuffle, nano and touch
Apple just announced a complete new iPod line-up with the new iPod nano and brand new iPod touch as most interesting devices. The tiny iPod shuffle gets some new colors and the iPod we used to call the video iPod is now the iPod classic. There aren't many changes in these two devices. MIDI controller pants
In an earlier post we showed the magic of MIDI and how a simple protocol can control dozens of synthesizers. Now GadgetVenue shows us some YouTube videos of MIDI controller pants. Certain parts of the pants are equipped with touch sensors that work kind of the same way as the keys on a MIDI keyboard. Invisible speakers
If you like a minimalistic design in your living room, these are the speakers for you. The Sonance SA2 speakers are very slim and actually designed to be hidden inside a wall or ceiling. Installing them might be a hassle but once they're in their place, according to Sonance, you can cover them up with wallpaper or latex paint to make them invisible.
