Text messaging in 1985 video

This fragment from a science show in The Netherlands called World of Miracles (1985), shows how people used to text back then. It's great to see how people where struggling with clumsy inventions that were of no use at all, but were actually pioneers in technology we now use every day. Don't forget it's only 22 years ago. Maybe in 2029 we'll see video clips of silly people experimenting with big bulky music players with primitive touchscreens called 'iPods'.
